On Friday 19th June, The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), in conjunction with the btc & Wenta, held an event on 'Finding New Markets' - with a particular focus on procurement in the public sector.
Special guest speaker, Basil Jackson, former Council Director who now helps businesses in the procurement of highways and transport infrastructure through his own company, provided a very insightful presentation to the 50 attendees, that were from a variety of industries.
The free event, which also featured guest speaker talks from local organisations - UKTI East, Supply Hertfordshire, Wenta, Business In The Community and ACER, provided a great networking opportunity for local businesses too.
Thanks to all of the speakers that came along to present on the day, to Caron and Pam at The FSB and to all that came along to make it the enjoyable event that it was.
