Background

Greg's previous experience has been in the retail sector, working for companies such as Bass, Whitbread, Costa Coffee and culminating as a Retail Director for a chain of healthy food retailers in London. After selling the brand, for the next six years, Greg worked as a business advisor specifically for start-ups and small businesses, advising them in a number of areas such as branding, property, raising finance, building business plans, designing cash flows, forecasts and budgets. Greg's main focus more recently was evolved to encompass SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and online marketing; he has made regular contributions to the Daily telegraph, BT Upload business magazine and has even advised Coronation Street on their business story lines to ensure authenticity.

Role

Greg’s is the director of a virtual environment (Mi Ventures) that allows entrepreneurs and those seeking support to access the advice they need whilst at the same time creating a community of start-up entrepreneurs that share common goals. We are well on our way to achieving this and extending the community that has been successfully created in the physical Wenta Business Incubator space.

Greg enjoys working with a wide variety of talented entrepreneurs and supporting and mentoring these individuals with business plan advice, product testing and general direction in helping them to achieve their goals.

Interests

Greg has four gorgeous children, who range from nine year old twins, a ten year old and a eleven year old. Greg has a passion for music, tries to play the drums, supports Manchester United and is addicted to coffee.
